BUDGET BLOOMS: APRIL GREENERY

As many of you know, every month we like to delight in one inexpensive- as well as in some cases free- bouquet to keep things feeling fresh around right here (the concept really stemmed from a very wonderful Christmas present from the hubs a while back). however this month I just had to depart from the plan when I saw this lovable leafy bit man total with his own shiny turquoise ceramic pot for- get this- $2.50 from Walmart. Ringing in just as inexpensive (if not cheaper) than many of our monthly grocery store bouquets, I like that this sprinkle of foliage livens up my desk as well as even includes its own vase of sorts (well, planter) that I can utilize over as well as over again… even if my leafy buddy ends up kicking the figurative bucket.

So far so great though. He’s a low light home plant (which is good for the best side of my desk that gets only partial sunlight) as well as I particularly like exactly how he looks next to my shiny pink Crate & Barrel vase (who is no complete stranger to our monthly bouquets so you men may even acknowledge her). as well as indeed I did get a bit sexist there by calling the blue potted plant “him” as well as the pink vase “her”- sorry for that. We of all people understand that blue can completely work for the women (since it’s one of the primary colors in our daughter-to-be’s room) as well as John has even been understood to sport something pink from time to time.

Anyway, that’s our monthly dose of greenery. We certainly suggest keeping an eye out for inexpensive potted plants these days, particularly those that are available in lovely bit ceramic pots instead of those cheap-o plastic ones. Heck, even those aren’t as well poor if you get a crisp white $1 ceramic planter from Ikea. So there’s much more than one method to get your fill of beautiful leafy goodness.

What are you men gravitating towards in the floral plan or potted plant department these days? any type of offers available to be found? anybody snipping things from their own backyard? We had some beautiful cherry blossoms on a tree out front however chose to leave them outside just in situation they tried to kill me when they were invited inside your home (silly allergies, although this year they’re much much much better than usual). anybody toting house those very cost effective daffodil bouquets from Trader Joe’s? Let’s talk about the flowers as well as plants that you’ve been inviting inside.
